From the In My Head series this painting is inspired by the flower Lilies. Generally associated with innocence or rebirth. I used this concept to portray the portrait of someone who has been deeply hurt, but is still strong. Ready to continue on through the pain; and something new growing from it. Reminding us that this pain is only temporary and we can overcome this too.
